Arapahoe Girls Basketball Spring Summer Plans
Arapahoe Girls Basketball Youth Camp June 11 - 14, 2012
For Girls entering 3rd - 8th grade

Summer Team tryoutcamp will be the week of May 07-10 from 2:30-5:30 in the auxiliary gym. May 07, the tryouts will end at 4:45. If you anticipate conflicts (i.e. post season soccer/lacrosse state playoffs), please get in touch with Coach Knafelc to let him know your participation plans.
Gold Crown League - May 22-June 07, every Tuesday & Thursday evenings for a total of 12 games (2 games/night). This is for all three teams – V, JV, F/S. Cost is $60/player. Most games will probably be at the Gold Crown Field House, but in years past, they have also been at other Denver metro high schools.
Combo Tournament – June 04-09 (Mon/Wed/Sat) or possibly June 08-09 (Fri/Sat), for a total of 6 games. Tournament between Grandview, Chaparral, Heritage, and Arapahoe. This is for the V and JV teams, though depending on numbers, other may be asked to play up. Cost is $40/player. Games will be at the three schools. More when we know more.
Gold Crown Team Camp - June 14-16, 8 games. This is for the JV and F/S teams. Cost is $60/player. Varsity will not participate in this team camp.
CU Team Camp (Boulder) – June 22-24. For Varsity only. 7 games. Cost is $185/player and staying in dorms 22nd and 23rd. This cost includes some meals.
UNC Team Camp (Greeley) – June 28-30. This is for Varsity and JV teams. 8 games. Cost is $200/player and staying in dorms 28th and 29th. This cost includes some meals.
All costs are approximate and will depend on the number of participants. There are no prorated fees, meaning if you can only participate in half the Gold Crown League, the cost will be the same as those participating in the full event. There will also be a one-time $50 coach fee for all participants. This is applied whether you participate in one or all events.
Approximate total costs for full participation:
Varsity: $535
JV: $410
F/S: $170
We realize that people may not be able to commit until they know which team they’ll be on, but you should start thinking about these events, how they fit into your schedules, and be prepared to commit shortly after tryouts. You will write one check for all events and it should be made out to AHS Girls Basketball Booster Club.
